Next Japan Marketing Center Co.,Ltd. has begun to develop TERRASERDE solar power generation pole using CIGS solar cell panel under a technical partnership of MiaSolé which is world-renowned as solar cell module manufacturers based in Silicon Valley, USA.
Next Japan Marketing Center Co.,Ltd.(HQ:OSAKA, CEO:Masayuki OKUMURA) the development division of the OS group has begun to develop TERRASERDE*1 solar power generation pole under a technical partnership of MiaSolé based in Silicon Valley, USA.
MiaSolé is the leading manufacturer of CIGS solar modules, with the industry’s highest conversion efficiency in mass production, characterized by flexibility, light weight, and customizable module sizes.
The solar power generation pole, developed by Next Japan Marketing Center Co.,Ltd., is a stand-alone field server equipped with a simple pole, a solar power generation sheet, a lithium battery and a battery management system with an interface, and it brings intellectual value to places where electrical power is not available.
Potential applications include monitoring cameras, meteorological sensors, Wi-Fi stations and lighting, enabling data acquisition and operation from remote locations.
Solar power generation pole, which do not require a power supply or maintenance, are expected to be a good preparation for long-term power outages and other disasters caused by heavy rains and earthquakes that have recently occurred in Japan.
We will conduct a demonstration experiment with the aim of commercializing the product by the end of 2020.
Next Japan Marketing Center Co.,Ltd., has the development and technical capabilities to commercialize the world’s leading-edge technologies, and is working on the realization of solar power generation pole.
We will continue to develop more products to meet the market’s needs, and we will also focus on contract manufacturing to meet a wide range of customer needs.
*1 TERRASERDE is the brand name for the product development that combines interfaces such as clean energy (solar sheets), batteries, and sensors, and the entire system that utilizes them.
