OS Group Privacy Policy

The OS Group*1 considers the protection of personal information of customers, business partners, and others to be fundamental to its business activities and a social responsibility. The OS Group will comply with laws, guidelines, and other regulations concerning the protection of personal information and will work to protect personal information in accordance with the following policy.

*1 On this page, the OS Group refers to OS Corporation and its subsidiaries and affiliates in Japan.

Regarding the collection of personal information
(1) The OS Group will acquire personal information through lawful and fair means.
Regarding the use of personal information
(1) The OS Group will use personal information only to the extent necessary for carrying out its business, within the scope of the purposes of use indicated at the time of acquisition.
(2) When the OS Group jointly uses personal information with a third party or entrusts the handling of personal information to a third party, it will conduct a thorough investigation of the third party and provide appropriate supervision to ensure confidentiality.
Regarding the provision of personal information to third parties
(1) Except where permitted by law, the OS Group will not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the individual concerned.
Regarding the management of personal information
(1) The OS Group will maintain the accuracy of personal information and manage it securely.
(2) The OS Group will take appropriate information security measures against unauthorized access, computer viruses, etc., in order to prevent the loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage of personal information.
Regarding the disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and deletion of personal information
(1) If an individual requests disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of their personal information, the OS Group will respond promptly in accordance with the provisions of the law.
Organization/system
(1) The OS Group will appoint a personal information protection manager and implement appropriate management of personal information.
(2) The OS Group will provide training to its officers and employees on the protection and proper management of personal information, and will ensure the proper handling of personal information in daily operations.
Formulation, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of activities based on the personal information protection policy
(1) In order to implement this policy, the OS Group will formulate "Personal Information Protection Regulations," etc., and will ensure that these are thoroughly communicated to officers and employees, and will implement, maintain, and continuously improve them.
